This is an oil painting I made in 2026, called “Magic Maker.”
I made this painting in celebration of the fireflies that sprinkle my summer nights with whimsy. They are one of my favorite things about living in western North Carolina. We go every year as a family to watch the synchronous and blue ghost fireflies. It really is such a special treat. Real magic right there.
The painting is 8” x 10” oil on stretched canvas, framed and ready to hang.
Frames are hand built by yours truly.
